Sofmen was founded by Anuj Khandelwal (CEO) in 2002. Anuj moved to US in 1999 after running his own software development organization in India for 10 years. His focus during the last 8 years was to work closely with hi-tech companies in US in order to leverage Sofmen’s abundance of high quality/low cost talent available in India.
Anuj has a deep knowledge of managing software development in a global environment. While working with startup Listen.com, he has gained extensive experience working in a startup environment where the thought process is always on, ideas are continuously evolving, timelines are tight and the budget is limited but the final outcome is the among the best (Listen.com: online music service running on a system that is robust, extensible and scales to support millions of users in a 24 x 7 environment).
Anuj has applied his exceptional management and technical skills to offshore outsourcing, managing offshore development teams from the US in an ASP model. Anuj established an offshore development center where he leads and motivates teams. Working in India and the US, Anuj has acquired skills and experience to get work done in India for the US clients.
