Background: Scrapkid's (http://www.scrapkid.com/) mission is to create timeless memory books for the modern family and to become the premier social networking site for families. Scrapkid allows you capture, store, and share pregnancy, baby, and big kid memories. Scrapkid's digital scrap-booking application offers a way to record these events as they occur, in easy 5-minute chapters. The application also offers chapters ideas tailored to your child's age. Blogs and photo sharing sites are great for sharing information, but the founders wanted to create a more compelling, organized and detailed memory-book experience. Memory books can be shared digitally with other families, grandparents, friends in your network, on Facebook, and even printed to create a custom memory book.
What We Did: Sofmen has worked with the founders as a strategic partner from the initial concept, to the fully functioning beta application. The founders of Scrapkid had the idea to create this application, and Sofmen had the extensive experience in developing social networks and sophisticated consumer oriented web applications, to make it a reality.
